August 28, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of The March on Washington and Martin Luther King’s historical “I Have A Dream” speech. I AM GOING TO BE THERE IN WASHINGTON D.C. for this commemerative event! I am so excited to take part in this celebration. I wanted to be able to share my experience with my family and friends. Join me on this journey! Lets honor King’s dream as we continue to fight for freedom and justice for all.

Truly, I also feel bad that the community is disappearing. I hate that as money has come in to the area it is leaving out those who grew up there.
